While my background may offer a different perspective compared to the typically more quantitative-focused paths of my peers at the FIN-ML program, I view this as an asset that enriches my approach to problem-solving. Hello, I'm Pedram 👋. My enthusiasm for data science and its impactful applications in business analytics has been the cornerstone of my academic and professional journey. Pursuing an advanced degree in this field was a natural step after my rewarding undergraduate experiences, where I first discovered my passion for turning data into actionable insights. In my role as a Data Scientist for a leading CRM software company in Iran, I led projects that significantly improved customer satisfaction and retention. My work included developing a health score model, creating BI dashboards for performance monitoring, optimizing sales processes through strategic process mining, and forecasting active customers. These initiatives, powered by my proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI, have not only honed my technical skills but also underscored the importance of data-driven decision-making in today’s business environment. I am keen to leverage my expertise in collaborative settings, particularly within the financial sector, to uncover new insights and contribute to meaningful advancements.
