Master's
Growing up on a cash crop farm, it was not hard for me to make the choice of studying a BSc. in Environmental and Agriculture Sciences, from which I graduated in 2015. I have an agronomist license from Quebec's agronomist Order and continue to work from time to time on the farm. After 2 years of work abroad in international development and microfinance, I enrolled in a M.Sc. Financial Engineering at HEC Montréal in 2019. I am currently working on my thesis to complete my program curriculum.
During the last 5+ years, I had a wide range of experiences in sales, research, international economic development, artificial intelligence/fintech, & financial markets. I currently study a M.Sc. in Financial Engineering at HEC Montréal and work as a cryptoanalyst at Timechain Technologies, a Montréal start-up. Cryptocurrencies and Web 3.0 technologies offer a wide range of new opportunities. I work closely in the development of tools to support the trading of new types of asset such as NFTs. In the past, I have worked as Coffee Value Chain Consultant for the Québec NGO Socodevi, and I am still involved with development efforts to support small-holder farmers in the developing world, mostly in Central and South America. My partners and I have recently formalized our venture, Honduran Coffee Alliance. We work closely with specialty coffee producers and make sure they get connected with importers and roasters in the U.S. and Canada.
